| Short-Duration Meetings

In this mode, the speaker delivers short segments and pauses, allowing the interpreter to listen, take notes, and convey the message to the audience. For consecutive interpretation, it’s essential to keep the meeting short, as the speech is presented twice: first by the speaker and then by the interpreter.

Benefits:

  • Only recommended for brief events and meetings that last between 1 to 2 hours.
  • No equipment needed for small meetings, as the interpreter can position themselves next to the person requiring translation.
  • Flexible enough to suit various event formats.
